hey there
let the no of oranges be x
no of apples x(1+20/100)
x(1+20/100) +x = 11
x(1+1/5)+x = 11
6/5x +x = 11
11x/5 = 11
x = 11*5/11
x = 5
no of oranges = 5
no of apples = 6

Answer:

The number of apples and the no. of apples of oranges are 6 and 5 respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of oranges

We are given that the number of apples are 20% more than the oranges.

Number of apples = x+\frac{20}{100}x=1.2x

We are given that there are 11 apples and oranges in the basket.

So, x+1.2x=11

2.2x=11

x=5

Number of oranges = 5

Number of apples = 1.2x = 1.2(5)=6

Hence the number of apples and the no. of apples of oranges are 6 and 5 respectively.
