Given,

Total number of teachers = 11

Total teacher who teaches mathematics = 7

Total teacher who teaches both mathematics and physics = 3

To find,

The total number of teachers that teaches physics.

Solution,

To solve this mathematical problem we have to apply the following mathematical formula,

Total teachers = Total teacher who teaches maths only + Total teacher who teaches physics only + Total teacher who teaches both maths and physics

Total teacher who teaches maths only

= Total maths teacher - Teachers who teaches both maths and physics

= 7 - 3

= 4

By putting the values we get that,

11 = 4 + Physics only teacher + 3

Physics only teacher = 11-7 = 4

Now,

Total physics teacher = (Total teacher who teaches both physics and maths + Total teacher who teaches only physics) = (3+4) = 7

Hence, a total of 7 teachers teaches physics.
