There are 120 seats in the balcony of a theater. if these 120 seats are 1/5 of the total seats, what is the total number of seats in the theater?

120=x/5
120/5=x
24=x....

As there are 120 seats and there are 1/5 of total seats then:

let number of seats=n

1/5*120=n

so,n=120/5

n=24.
