Given : There are 121 boxes of strawberries, each box containing at least 50 strawberries and at most 80 strawberries.   no five boxes have the same number of strawberries,

To find : what is the maximum

number of strawberries that can be present in all the boxes together

Solution:

there are 121 Boxes

no 5  boxes have the same number of strawberries,

To have maximum strawberries

1 - 4  box with  80 Strawberries Each

5 - 8 box with 79 straw berries Each

117-120  box with 51 Strawberries Each

121 box  with 50 Straw beerries

Maximum Straw berries =  4(80 + 79 + ....................................+ 51) + 50

= 4 (30/2)(80 + 51)  + 50

= 60 * 131 + 50

= 7860 + 50

= 7910

the maximum number of strawberries that can be present in all the boxes together = 7910  strawberries
