Step-by-step explanation:

a1 + a₂ +03+-+0₂5 = 15

- Cl25=375 a₁ + a₂ +α3+ -- + Cl₂5² = 375

a1 + a₂ +---+ A16 = 13

16

a₁ + a₂ + + a16=208

a16+ a17+ - - + a₂5 = a₁ta₂+-+a1₂5)-(a₁ + a₂ +--+912) 9

= 375-208 = 167-18.55 二

The age of the member who has left is 11 Years

Given:

  • 15 members in a group whose average age is 25 years
  • One member left the group then the average increased by 1 year

To Find:

  • The age of the member who has left

Solution:

\text{Mean}=\dfrac{\text{sum of all the obervations}}{\text{number of the observations}}

Step 1:

Find total Age of 15 members

15 x 25  = 375

Step 2:

One Member left so members = 15 - 1 = 14

Average age increased by 1 Hence new average = 25 + 1 = 26

Step 3:

Find total Age of 14 members

14 x 26 = 364

Step 4:

Age of Left members = Total age of 15 members - Total age of 14members

375 - 364 = 11 Years

Hence,  The age of the member who has left is 11 Years
