Answer:

18 buses

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of buses will be minimum if each bus accomodated maximum number of students.

The no of students in each bus must be HCF of 156,208 and 260students.

Prime factorisation of 156,208,260 are :

156= 2^2  x  3  x  13

208= 2^4  x  13

260= 2^2  x  5  x  13

HCF of 156,208 and 260 = 2^2  x  13 = 52

In each bus 52 students can be accomodated

minimum no of uses required = Total no of students/52

                                                  = 156+208+260/52

                                                  = 624/52

                                                  = 18 Buses

18 buses will be hired if the same number of students be accomodated in each bus.

write as it is in exam :)
