Let the number of two rupee coins be x
and that of five rupee coins be y

So, x + y = 165 - Eq.1
And
2x + 5y = 555 - Eq.2

Eq.1 can also be re-written as 2x + 2y = 330 - Eq.3

Eq. 2 - Eq. 3

3y = 225
y = 75

So, there are 75 five rupee coins.

Finding number of two rupee coins -
x = 165 - 75 = 90

So, there are 90 two rupee coins.

Let the number of two rupee coins be x

and that of five rupee coins be y

So, x + y = 165 - Equation1

And

2x +5y = 555 Equation2

Eq1 can also be re-written as 2x +2y =

330- Equation3

Equation 2- Equation 3

3y =225

y =75

So, there are 75 five rupee coins.

Finding number of two rupee coins -

x = 165 - 75 90
