Given:

Number of eggs = 190

Dimension of the field = 70 m by 140m

To Find:

The fraction of eggs to the area of the field

Solution:

Find the area of the field:

Area of the field = Length x Breadth

Area of the field = 70 x 140

Area of the field = 9800 m²

Find the fraction of space for 1 egg:

Number of eggs = Area of the field

190 eggs = 9800 m²

1 egg = 9800 ÷ 190

1 egg = 980/19 m²

1 egg = 51 11/19 m²

Answer: 1 egg has 51 11/19 m² of the field space.
