as we know that amino acid joins to form the polypeptide chains and The number of  polypeptides increases with increase in number of amino acids. There are  'monopeptides',  dipeptides, 20^3=8000 tripeptides and so on…

so if the question is the maximum number of tripeptides obtained is 8000 so correct answer is option a
