Answer:

Number of students who play none of the three games

= 155

Step-by-step explanation:

Total students in the school (U) = 2000

Number of cricket players =n(C) = 1000,

Number of Football players =n(F) = 550,

Number of Basketball players =n(B) = 600,

Number of students who play cricket and Basketball =n(CnB)=120,

Number of students who play Basketball and Football =n(BnF)=80,

Number of students who play cricket and football =n(CnF)=150,

Number of students who play all the three games =n(CnBnF)=45,

Now ,

n(CUBUF)= n(C)+n(B)+n(F)-n(CnB)-n(BnF)-n(CnF)+n(CnFnB)

= 1000+600+550-120-80-150+45

= 2195 -350

= 1845

Now ,.

Number of students who play none of the three games = U-n(CUBUF)

= 2000-1845

= 155
