there are 222 red balls in a basket . a boy takes out 6 red balls from it replaces them by 12 white balls. he continues to do so till all red balls are replaced by white balls.determine the number of white balls put in the basket.

each time red balls taken out = 6

so no of times to take out all red balls = 222/6

= 37 times

each time white balls put = 12

so number of white balls = 37 × 12

= 444 balls
