Simple Way: First Divide 222 by 6 to check how many times we took out red marbles. The answer came 37 Times. Now multiply it by 12 as to know the white marbles as each time he took away red marbles he replaced it by 12 white marbles. 37*12= 444. So, the number of white marbles is 444.
