There are 2300 students in a school. If 90% of them are present on a particular day. How many students were absent? And how many students were present?

90% of students are present

No. of students present = Total no. of students × Percentage of students present / 100

= (2300 × 90)/100

= 2070

Total no. of students present = 2070

10% of students are absent

No. of students absent = Total no. of students × Percentage of students absent / 100

= (2300 × 10)/100

= 230

Total no. of students absent = 230
