There are 2332 students in a school.They are made to stand in rows and
columns. Find the number of students who will not find a place if there are as many
rows as the number of columns

Since no of rows = no of columns
So x^2=2332
but since 2332 is not a perfect square some students must be remained outside.
Finding square root of 2332 it gives more than 48.
And now square of 48 = 2304
Therefore 2332-2304= 28 students will not get place in the row or column
