there are 24beeds in a box some are white and some are black . probablity of getting white beed is 1/4 then how many white balls are there​

let the no. of white beads be x

p(e) = no. of outcomes favourable at E / total no. of possible outcomes

p( getting white beads ) = x/ 24

x/24 = 1/3

x= 24/3

x=8

No. of white beads is 8

no. of black beads = 24-8-16

the probability of drawing white 1/2 means it would be 12/24

so 4 more black beads should be removed
