Given :

  • There are 25 computers , 16 of which are out of order

To Find :

  • Percentage of working computers

Solution :

  • Total computers = 25
  • Out of order ( non - working ) = 16
  • Working = Total - non working

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 25 - 16 = 9

• Working computers are 9 . Now , finding %

\large\bold{\boxed{\sf{\red{Percentage\:=\: \dfrac{Working}{Total} \times 100}}}}

\implies \sf Percentage\:=\: \dfrac{9}{25} \times 100 \\

\implies \sf Percentage\:=\: \dfrac{900}{25} \\

\implies \sf Percentage\:=\: 36

Therefore , 36 % computers are working
