a1 = 25, a2 = 29 ....... up to a8.

using arithmetic progression,

first term, a1 = 25,

total term, n = 8,

common difference, d = 4

sum of terms = (n/2){ 2 × a1 + (n - 1)d}

= (8/2){2×25 + (8 - 1)×4}

= 4 { 50 + 28 }

= 4 × 78

so, total workers in all 8 units = 4 × 78

so, avg no of workers = 4×78/8 = 39 ... ans...

Step-by-step explanation:

series is: 25,29,29,29,29,29,29,29

average=(25+29+29+29+29+29+29+29)/8

=57/2
