there are 250 people in a museum, 2/5 of 250 are girls, 3/10 of 250 are boys. the rest are adult. ho many adults are there?

no. of total people is 250.

no. of girls = 2/5 of 250
= 2*50=100 girls

no. of boys = 3/ 10 of 250
3*25=75boys

no. of adult = 250—100—75=250—175=75

so, there are 75 adults....

Total number of people = 250

Girls = 2/5 of 250 = 2/5*250 = 100
No. of girls = 100

Boys = 3/10 of 250 = 3/10*250 = 75
No. of boys = 75

Number of adults = 250 - [No of boys + No of girls ]
No. of adults = 250 - (75+100)
= 250 - 175
= 75
Therefore, number of adults = 75
