Given :

→ Total number of students in class VII = 250 students.

→ Students in Section A = 120 students

→ Students in Section B = 80 students

Find :

Percentage of students of class VII that are in Section C.

Solution :

There are 250 students of class VII out of which 120 students are of Section A and 80 students are of Section B.

To find number of students od Section C. We have to add students of Section A and B and then subtract them from total number of students.

i.e.

Students of Section C = Total number of students - (Students of Section A + Students of section B)

\implies\:250\:-\:(120\:+\:80)

\implies\:250\:-\:200

\implies\:50

There are 50 students in Section C of class VII.

According to question, we have to find the percentage if students of class VII that are in Section C.

Perentage = Students in Section C/Total number of students × 100

\implies\:50/250\:\times\:100

\implies \:1/5\:\times\:100

\implies \:20\%

There are 20% students in class VII of Section C.
