Answer:

48% of 2500 is No. of Males

So,

= \frac{48}{100} * 2500 = No. of Males ... {2 zero's of 100 & 2500 Are Cancelled}

So,

= \frac{48}{1} * 2500

= 48 * 25                = No. of Males

= 1200

So,

Total No. of males = 1200

TotalNo. of females = 2500 - 1200

                          = 1300

GIVEN THAT;

➨ There are 2500 people living in a village.

➨ 48% of them are male.

SOLUTIONS;

➨ The total number of male

&#10230 \:  \:  \frac{48}{\cancel{100}}  \times 25\cancel{00} \\  \\ &#10230 \:  \: 48 \times 25 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\ &#10230 \:  \: 1200 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

➨ So the total number of male in village = 1200

➨ Total number of female in village = 2500 - 1200 = 1300
