There are 25000 radios, 16000 of them are out of order. What per cent of
radios are out of order? How many are not out of order? What per cent of
radios are not out of order?

To Find :-

Solution :-

Percent of radios out of order :-

{\tt \longrightarrow \cancel\dfrac{16000}{25000} \times 100 = \dfrac{16}{25} \times 100}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{16 \times 100}{25} = \dfrac{1600}{25}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \cancel\dfrac{1600}{25} = \boxed{\tt 64 \bf\%}}

Number of radios not out of order :-

{\tt \longrightarrow 25000 - 16000}

{\tt \longrightarrow \boxed{\tt 9000 \: \: radios}}

Percent of radios not out of order :-

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{9000}{25000} \times 100}

{\tt \longrightarrow \cancel\dfrac{9000}{25000} \times 100 = \dfrac{9}{25} \times 100}
