The probability of the socks being the same color is dependent on which color. The assumption is also made that the sock is not replaced after first choice. So, you are choosing from 11 socks first and 10 the second time.

 Probability of both being red or both being blue: (3/11)(2/10) = 6/110 = .0545

 Probability of both being green: (5/11)(4/10) = 20/110 = 2/11 = .1818
