There are 20 boys in the class .

 \small{ \bold{ \red{explaination : -  }}}

It is given that in grade 6 there are 3 girls for every 2 boys .

so we can represent the ratio of girls to boys as 3/2 = 3:2

again there are 30 girls in the class .

let there be x number of boys in the class .

so , the ratio of girls to boys become = 30/x = 30:x

this is equal to 3 :2 .

thus , 30/x = 3 : 2

=> 3x = 60

=> x = 60/3 = 20

number of boys , x = 20 .

Answer:

so 2:3

so totally 5 parts

30/5 = 6

1 part = 6

so no. of boys = 2 parts = 12

no. of girls = 2 parts = 18
