Here
Suppose x = no. of cows and y = no. of goats(on the farm)
Given data,
x+y = 338............. 1)
3 \times x \div 3
= y/5...............2)

From eq..... 2) we get, the value of x
x = 3y/15.......3)

put this value of x in eq. 1 we get,

3y/15 + y = 338

3y + 15y = 5070

18y = 5070

y = 281.67

x + 281.67 = 338

x = 56.33

Hope it will help

sahilkumar1117p9zev6: sorry there is x replace y
