Let the no. of pieces you get be 2x .

Let the no. of pieces your friend gets be 3x .

According to the Question!

2x + 3x = 35
5x = 35
x = 35 ÷ 5
x = 7

No. of pieces you get = 2x = 2×7 = 14

No . of pieces your friend gets = 3x = 3×7 = 21

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of chocolates = 35

Divided ratio = 2 : 3

Total of the ratio = 2 + 3 = 5

5 equal parts = 35 pieces

1 part = 35 / 5 = 7 pieces

Friend get = 3 parts

= 3 × 7 pieces

= 21 pieces

I get = 2 pieces

= 2 × 7 pieces

= 14 pieces
