If the capacity of tank is 180 liters

Rate of filling of A is 3/4(45/60) and B fills water im the tank 3/4 of the tank in 60minutes so in 1 minute = 3/(4*60).

So, if both taps are opened togetherfor 1 minute, then after 2 minutes the amount of tank will be filled is 1 litre.

Then, total of 176 liters will be filled in 176 x 2=352 minutes.

When in the 352th minute tap A and B will simultaneously open to fill the entire tank in 353 minutes= 5 hours and 53 minutes.
