number. of girls = 40 - 15 = 25

obtained by boys = sum of mark of boys

total of mark of boy

33 = sum of mark of boys

$sum \: of \: mark \: of \: boys \: = \\ 33 \times 15 = 495$

similarly,

$sum \: of \: mark \: of \: girl = \\ 25 \times 35 = 875$

mean of mark of obtained by all student =

= sum of mark of boys + sum of mark of boys

total number of student

= 495 + 875. = 1370 = 34.25

40 = 40
