Given :-

Total children in school :- 400

Total children playing :- 60

Total children eating :- 100

Rest of them are reading.......

To Find :-

Percentage of children playing, eating and reading.............

Formula required :-

{\large \tt \dashrightarrow \orange{\boxed{ \tt \gray{ \frac{part \: of \: children}{total \: children} \times 100}}}}

Solution :-

First, we should find the number of children reading............

Number of children reading :-

{\tt \longrightarrow 400 - (60 + 100)}

 \tt \longrightarrow 400 - 160

 \tt \longrightarrow 240 \:  \sf \: children

Now,

Percent of children playing :-

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{60}{400}  \times 100}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{60}{\cancel{400}} \times \cancel{100} =  \boxed{\tt \dfrac{60}{4}}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \cancel \dfrac{60}{4} = \boxed{\tt 15 \bf\%}}

Percent of children eating :-

\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{100}{400}  \times 100

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{100}{\cancel{400}} \times \cancel{100} =  \boxed{ \tt \dfrac{100}{4}}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \cancel \dfrac{100}{4}  =  \boxed{ \tt 25 \bf\%}}

Percentage of children reading :-

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{240}{400}  \times 100}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{240}{\cancel{400}} \times \cancel{100} =  \boxed{\tt\frac{240}{4}}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \cancel \dfrac{240}{4} = \boxed{ \tt60 \bf\%}}

Therefore :-

Percent of children playing :- 15 {\bf\%}

Percent of children eating :- 25 {\bf\%}

Percent of children reading :- 60 {\bf\%}
