Given - Total number of cookies : 45

Number of cookies containing raisins : 27

Find - Ratio of number of plain cookies to that of raisin cookies in the box.

Solution - Firstly we will find number of cookies without raisin or plain cookies : 45 - 27 = 18.

Now, ratio of number of plain cookies to that of raisin cookies in the box = 18:27

Ratio of number of plain cookies to that of raisin cookies in the bbo = 2:3.

Thus, the ratio of number of plain cookies to that of raisin cookies in the box is 2:3.
