Given : There are 492 male employees and 248 female employees in a company

To Find : They are to be

divided into equal groups of either males or females alone

Solution:

492 male employees

248 female employees

Need to find HCF

492  = 2 *  2* 3 * 41

248 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 31

HCF = 2 * 2 = 4

Hence max 4 people in a group

Minimum Groups of females = 248/4  = 62

Minimum Groups of male = 492/4  = 123

Total  group = 62 + 123  = 195
