b). What will be the least count if there are 10 division in place of 5.

a.least count= measurement /no. of division
so, for1. measurement=20
no. of division =5. so,
least count =20/5
=4

2. measurement =40
no. of division =5
so,least count =40/5
= 8

B. if there were 10 divisions
for 1. least count =20/10
=2
2. least count =40/10
=4
