there are 5 people in a room. You go in that room and kill 4 of the 5 people, how many people remain in that room?

Reason/Explanation :- As you mentioned in the question,

There are already 5 people in a room.


If you entered in a room then the total number of people inside the room = 6


if you kill 4 peoples, 4 people are died.

But as you asked about the number of people remains in the room, since the died peoples ( 4 ) are also there.


Finally, the total number of people in the rooms (4 died + 2 Alive)  = 6

This is actually a tricky question, especially because the condition is not properly stated. It does not ask whether the people are alive or not.
There were 5 people in the room. When you enter the room, the total number of people goes up to 6. Even though 4 people were killed, they still remain in that room itself. Thus, the number of people in the room remains 6.

If the question asked how many people were alive, then the answer would be two - the survivor and yourself.
