There are 5 ppl in a room. You go in that room and kill 4 of those 5 ppl, how many ppl actually remain in that room?

after killing four, only two persons would remain in the room alive including me and the fifth person.

However, if dead and alive factor is not mentioned, then overall 6 persons are still present in the room no matter whether they are dead or alive.
