Given - Total number of workers

Find - Number of workers on different days

Solution - a) Firstly calculate the number of workers present on Tuesday.

Number of workers absent = 40/100*50

Number of workers absent = 20

So, number of workers present = 50 - 20

Number of workers present = 30

Hence, 30 workers were present on Tuesday.

b) and c) Number of workers present on Monday = 80/100*50

Number of workers present on Monday = 40

Number of workers absent on Monday = 50 - 40

Number of workers absent on Monday = 10

Hence, the number of workers not present on Monday was 10 and the number of workers present on Monday was 40.
