There are 500 children in a school. For a P.T. drill they have to stand in such a manner that the number of rows is equal to number of columns. How many children would be left out in this arrangement?

your answer will be 16 as 22 rows will be formed because 22×22=484 therefore 16 will be left out....hope it helps. .....if it does plz follow me so that I can answer more of ur doubts

Solution :-

= Total children = 500

= Number of rows = Number of Columns

= x = 500

= 16 are left out
