there are 500 children In a school. for a PT drill, they have to stand in such a manner that the number of rows equal number of columns. How many children would be left out in this arrangement

we have to check the... perfect square number near to and less than 500.
so the number is 22*22=484
there will be 22 columns and rows in maximum.. and the total number of students left out =500-484=16
