Suppose we have B rows and B flowers in it. because Number of rows and flowers in it are same.

so total number of flowers will be = B*B

= B^2

So we have find number whose square is near 500.

i.e = 22

so 22*22 = 484

we have to remove 16 Flowers.

for addition of flowers we must find number whose square is greater than 500.

i.e 23

so 23*23 = 529.

so we have to add 29 flowers.
