There are 500 passengers on a train.
7/20 of the passengers are men.
40% of the passengers are women.
The rest of the passengers are children.
Work out the number of children on the train.

no of men = 7/20 × 500 = 175

no of woman = 40/100×500 = 200

no of children = 500-(noofmen+noof women)

500-(175+200)

500-375

=125 ans

7×25=men in train

175=men in train

500÷100×40=women in train

200=women in train

children in train=total passenger- men and women in train
