Question Correction

there are 5000 people in a village the daily requirement of water per person is 130litre if a cuboid shape tank with dimension 20 into 13 into 10 is full of water for how many days will it be sufficient for villagesrs?

Answer

Length of Tank=20 m

Breadth Of Tank=13 m

Height=10 m

Tank In Cubiodical Shape.

Volume of Cubiod=(Length×Breadth×Height)m³

=20×13×10

=260×10

=2600 m³

Volume of Tank=2600 m³

As we Know

1m³=1000 litres

2600 m³=2600×1000

=2600000 litres

Per Person in a Day=130 Litres

Total Population =5000

Total Water Used in 1 day=5000×130

=650000 litres

1 day use of Water in Village=650000 Litres

Water in Tank=2600000 litres

Total Day it can Be used

2600000/650000

=4

Total Days It can Be used=4 days

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER DUDE.

volume of water in tank = l × breadth × height.

volume = 20×30×10= 6000 litre of water.

total requirement of water for villagers = water requirement of one person per day × total population of village.

water required per day = 5000×130 litres = 650000litres

no. of days it will be sufficient = 6000/650000 = 6/650 days .
