There are 510 trees in a garden. Some of the trees were fruit trees. Number of non-fruit trees was two more than three times the fruit trees. Find the number of fruit trees.

Given :---

  • Total trees in garden = 510
  • Number or Non - Fruit trees = 3(Fruit Trees) + 2

Solution :----

Let number of Fruit Trees be X .

Than number of Non- Fruit Trees = (510-x)

According to Question Now,

(510-x) = 3x + 2

→ 4x = 508

Dividing both sides by 4 we get,

→ x = 127

Hence, Number of Fruit Trees are 127 ...
