GiVen :

  • Number of Apple's = 527
  • Number of Pear's = 646
  • Number of Orange's = 748

To FinD :

  • Total number of heaps formed = ?

SoluTion :

Here, we can find the total number of heaps formed by just finding the H.C.F. of 527, 646 and 748.

So, Accordingly,

\implies 527 = 17 × 31

\implies 646 = 2 ×17 × 19

\implies 748 = 2 × 2 × 17 × 11

It can be observed that the H.C.F. of 527, 646 and 748 = 17.

So, 17 heaps can be formed.

Let us find the number of fruits in each heap :

  • Apple's in each heap = 527/17 = 31

  • Pear's in each heap = 646/17 = 38

  • Orange's in each heap = 748/17 = 44
