There are 6 marbles in a box with numbers from 1 to 6 marked on each of them. Then what is the probability of drawing a marble with number 2?

Given, There are 6 marbles in a box with numbers from 1 to 6 marked on each of them.

we know that,

probability=no.of favourable outcomes/total no. of outcomes

Then the probability of drawing a marble with number 2= 1/6

There are 6 marbles in a box with a numbers from 1 to 6 .

So, The total possible outcomes=> 6.

Total favourable outcomes for getting 2 => 1.

Probability => Favourable outcomes/ Total outcomes.

=> 1/6.
