Total number of marbles = 6

So n(s) = 6

Number of marbles marked with 2 = 1

n(e) = 1

Probability : Total number of outcomes/ Number of favourable outcomes

=   n(s) /n(e) =   6 /1

ii) Total number of marbles = 6

n(s) = 6

Number of marbles marked 5 = 1

n(e) = 1

Probability = \frac{Number\ of\ favourable\ outcomes}{Total\ number\ of\ outcomes}\

n(s) /n(e) =   6 /1
