The above problem can be simply solved as follows;

Average = (sum of all numbers)/Number

= (30 + 72 + 53 + 68 + X + 87)/6

60 = (310 + X)/6

360 = 310 + X

X = 360 - 310

= 50

Hence, The answer is 50
