there are 60 student in class . the girl consist of 1/3rd of number of boys. find the number of boys and girls.

The no of boys are 45 and that of girls are 15.

preetpragyan: total students =60 now let no of girls be x and that of bous be y so x + y = 60 and another equation x=1/3 of y equate both the equations you will get thr the value of y and then substitute the value of y in any one of the equation you will get the answer.
