There are 75 apples in a basket of which12 %are rotten. How many apples are good enough to be sold?

12% of 75

12÷100×75=9

So according to question

12% are rotten those are 9 apples

Good apples are

Totalapples-rotten apples=75-9=66

So good apples are 66

THE FIRST STEP TO FIND THEW ANSWER IS TO FIND THE NUMBER OF ROTTEN APPLES.

∴ PERCENT OF ROTTEN  APPLES =12 PERCENT .

NUMBER OF ROTTEN APPLES = 12/100 *75=  9

∴ NUMBER OF ROTTEN APPLES = 9

∴ NUMBER OF GOOD APPLES = TOTAL NUMBER OF APPLES -ROTTEN APPLES

= 75-9 =66
