Let 25 paise coins be x in number.

number of 50 paisa coins = 800-x

so,

According to question (ATQ)

25(x)+50(800-x)=31500

25x+40000-50x=31500

40000-25x=31500

25x=40000-31500

25x=8500.

x=8500/25

x=340

so,

25 paisa coins = 340

50 paisa coins = 800-340 = 460
