There are 825 apples, 450 oranges and 675 mangoes. These are to be arranged in heaps containing the same number of fruits.

there no. of apples = 527

no. of pears =646

no. of oranges =748

we can no. of heaps ,greatest no. of fruits by finding highest common factor (h. c. f)

finding h. c. f by prime factorization

527=17*31

646=2*17*19

748=2*2*11*17

so 17 heaps can be made

therefore the no. of

a. apples =31

b.pears=38

c. oranges =4
