Total no. Of ants= 1280
No. Of ants increased after 1 day= 5/100 x 1280= 64
No. Of ants increased after 10 days= 64 x 10= 640
So no. of ants after 10 days = 1280+ 640= 1920

Answer:

total ants =1280

the ant colony grows in one day =5%

here, 1% of the ant colony =1280/100

=12.80

now 5% of the ant colony growth will be -

5*12.80 =64 ants in one day

therefore in 10 day the ants will 10*64

=640 .

now total ants colony = 1280+640

=1920 ants
