Answer:

8 Cats are at Kennel

Step-by-step explanation:

There are a total of 20 dogs and cats at a kennel. If the ratio of the number of dogs to the number of cats at the kennel is 3 to 2, how many cats are at the kennel?

Let say there are  3 X dogs

Then there will be 2X cats

( as  ratio of the number of dogs to the number of cats  is 3 : 2)

Total 3X + 2X = 5X

5X = 20

=> X = 4

Number of Cats = 2 * 4 = 8

8 Cats are at Kennel
